Professional Experience

James Kiely is the Chief Technology Officer at Matyx. His journey began in sales, working with major retailers such as Best Buy and Lowe’s before transitioning into the telecom space with Nextel. As technology evolved, James became fascinated with CRM systems and quickly recognized their transformative impact on business operations. Driven by curiosity and self-motivation, he used online resources—Google, YouTube, and the broader internet—to teach himself how to modify and deploy open-source CRM platforms. He began offering his services to call centers, tapping into an underserved market and quickly building a reputation for innovation and results.

James was initially contracted to work with Tucker, now CEO of Matyx, customizing CRM systems for Upgrade Business Solutions. After two years of close collaboration, Tucker brought James into his next venture—what would eventually become Matyx. As CTO, James brings deep technical expertise, hands-on development experience, and a forward-thinking approach to CRM architecture, automation, and software deployment.
